ar from designs often influenced by fleeting trends, there are people who maintain a deep connection with their roots and values, transmitting a genuine creative vision through each piece they design. Isabel Guarch is one of these exceptional artists—a designer whose passion for jewellery goes beyond mere aesthetics. Her creations are a sincere reflection of her personal story, the environment that surrounds her, and the rich culture of Mallorca, which inspires her deeply.

The story of Isabel Guarch begins within her family. “My passion for jewellery was passed down to me by my mother. From her I learned the brand’s values, the quality of each piece, attention to detail, artisanal work, and something very important: personal treatment,” explains the designer. These principles have been the foundation of her work throughout the years, setting her apart in a saturated market. “These values are what I have built my work upon,” she adds, highlighting the importance of craftsmanship and personalisation in her brand.

Isabel Guarch’s style is unmistakable and deeply personal. “Every chapter of my life is reflected in my jewellery and in my collections,” she affirms. Her creations not only show her evolution, but also capture the spirit of Mallorca—its landscapes, history, and culture. “I have a profession that I love and in which I find satisfaction in conveying the essence of the Mediterranean and of Mallorca,” she says enthusiastically. She also emphasises the importance of teamwork: “It is essential to surround yourself with the right people, to have a good team to rely on, and I am fortunate to have a great team.”

hen asked about how she begins creating a new piece she explains, “First: the inspiration, something special that I want to turn into a jewel,” she explains. The design process then includes testing materials, sketches, and models until the final draft is achieved. “We make tests, models, and sketches to translate the idea into a piece of jewellery,” she notes. Each collection follows a coherent style, where colours and gemstones carry special meaning. “Each colour relates to the collection and what it is meant to represent.”

Living on an island like Mallorca has been fundamental to her work. “I am lucky to live in a unique environment, full of history and wonderful landscapes,” she says. The island’s natural beauty and special light inspire her designs and allow her to help preserve and promote Mallorcan history and culture. “Through my jewellery I want to contribute to preserving this history and also spreading the beauty of Mallorca.”

In a world that increasingly values sustainability, Isabel Guarch champions craftsmanship and personalised service. “We believe in craftsmanship and in personalised treatment. Each piece of jewellery must be unique and special,” she states. Her process combines tradition and sustainability, working hand in hand with local artisans and goldsmiths. However, she acknowledges one of today’s greatest challenges: the loss of these traditional trades. “One of the big problems we are facing is that these professions are disappearing, and it is increasingly difficult to find a new generation to carry them on.”

“Through my jewellery I want to contribute to preserving this history and also spreading the beauty of Mallorca.”
