From June 21–28, the ATP Tour lands in Mallorca again for its 5th season with the 2025 Mallorca Championships. Held at the Mallorca Country Club in the hills of Santa Ponça, this ATP 250 event has quickly carved out a spot as a serious tune-up for players aiming for Grand Slam success on grass.

Launched in 2021 and organized by the Mallorca Country Club, in coordination with Wimbledon’s All England Club, the tournament has grown in prestige and intensity. It follows in the footsteps of the island's earlier ATP presence (1998–2002) and the former WTA Mallorca Open (2016–2019), but today’s iteration is all about elite-level men’s tennis in a unique, sun-drenched setting.

This year’s player field is stacked with several top 20 ATP world rankings. Leading the charge is Norwegian Casper Ruud, a Rafa Nadal Academy known more for his clay prowess, but his consistent all-court game makes him a real threat on the fast turf. Gaël Monfils adds experience and flair; American Ben Shelton brings a massive lefty serve and explosive movement. Also in the mix are Félix Auger-Aliassime, Kei Nishikori, and home favorite Jaume Munar, who’ll be gunning for a deep run on home soil. With top players using Mallorca as a final test before heading to SW19, expect high-quality, high-stakes matchups from round one.

The Mallorca Country Club is a high-caliber tennis facility. The grass courts are maintained to near-Wimbledon standards, fast and true but forgiving in the Mediterranean heat. There are many night games, giving players and viewers relief from the midday sun With seating for around 1,500 and a close-up view of the action, it's an ideal venue for serious tennis heads.

While the focus is clearly on tennis, Mallorca Championships also includes tennis clinics, youth engagement days, and a family day with activities for all ages. But make no mistake: this tournament is about performance. With just a week until Wimbledon, players are testing strategies, adjusting footwork, and gauging form in live competition. For fans, it’s a rare chance to watch that process unfold in a relaxed but competitive atmosphere.
