pring officially gets underway this weekend with Art Palma Brunch, the annual spring art event organised by Art Palma Contemporani (APC), which celebrates its 21st edition on Saturday, March 21. Art Palma Brunch has become one of the island’s most anticipated cultural gatherings of the spring season. From 11:00 to 15:00, galleries and cultural spaces across the island will open their doors to the public, offering an exciting new programme of exhibitions.
Palma remains the heart of the event thanks to the growing number of galleries that participate and are helping to transform the city into a leading art destination. Contemporary galleries will unveil new exhibitions by both international and local artists. Among the highlights, ABA ART presents works by Jaime Sicilia and Ugo Ricciardi, BALAZSI GALLERY opens the group exhibition Melting Ice, curated by Esmeralda Gómez Galera. Florit / Florit shows works by Gizela Mickiewicz and Galería Xavier Fiol presents Beyond the Portrait by Alessandro Cardinale and Giacomo Modolo, in collaboration with Crag Gallery in Turin. Visitors can also explore ambitious programmes at BARÓ, Galería Pelaires and Galería Xavier Fiol, each presenting a diverse range of contemporary artistic voices.
Beyond the capital, Art Palma Brunch expands across the island, reflecting the growing vitality of Mallorca’s art landscape. CCA Andratx and Galeria Maior, in Pollensa, join the programme, while this year also marks the first participation of a66 Gallery in Santanyi.
