he 30th edition of Nit del Art takes place on Saturday, September 19th between 18h - 23h, across Palma, as well as several other towns including Andratx, Pollensa and Santanyi. For over three-decades Nit del Art has been one of the most anticipated fall events in Mallorca, transforming Palma into a capital of contemporary art and performance, bringing people together after the summer season. Organized by the gallery association, Art Palma Contemporani, Nit del Art has grown steadily over the years, with the event becoming a reference not only for curators, collectors, artists and gallerists, but also for other European cities, who have taken inspiration from the event to launch their own contemporary art events.

This year, Nit del Art includes more than 50 exhibitions with over 100 artists participating in exhibitions and events. Art Palma Contemporani welcomes a new gallery into its association this year as well, a66 gallery, located in Santanyi. Founded in 2024 by Anja Maria Wold, the gallery is located in a traditional manor house and hosts exhibitions by local and international artists. Also, in an effort to attract a wider audience, APC invites iGallery and KANT Gallery as official collaborating partners.

Some highlights of Nit del Art include: Tatiana Sarasa, Ochre et Lait, at ABA, José Fiol alongside a group exhibition curated by Belén Martínez Gamero at Galerie Reus, Patrick Goddard, Plagues, at Balazsi, Galeria Fermay presents "¿En dónde tejemos la ronda? / Weaving the Round," with work by Noa i Lara Castro, Janice McNab, popea and Jennifer Tee, curated by Cristina Anglada, as well as an intervention by Alejandro Corujeira at the Sant Francesc Hotel, Galeria Pelaries presents Espinturalidad," featuring work by André Butzer, Luis Gordillo, Ann-Kristin Hamm, Albert Oehlen, Markus Oehlen, Jana Schröder and Christoph Steinmeyer, and Florit Florit presents "Miedo al colapso," by Dasha Shishkin and Alejandro Leonhardt at their main gallery as well as a group show "The Guestroom" at the Bulthaup Mallorca Nicolau space.

here is an extended programme of fall exhibitions happening across Palma’s cultural institutions as well including the opening of Ghada Amer and Territories in Transit (Anna Talens and Mar Guerrero) at Es Baluard, Joan Pere Català Roig at the Centro Cultural la Misericordia and Fabien Schalekamo at Casal Solleric. CCA in Andratx celebrates its 25th anniversary with a series of exhibitions including: "How Would You Like to Live in Looking-Glass House, Kitty? (In Praise of Uncertainty)," with Noemi Durighello, Laia García, Li Jun and Evian Wenyi Zhang, curated by Virginie Pislot; "Otium – The Labour of Leisure," by Rex Southwick; "Gedankenexperimente," by Anna Belén; "Lines That Sing," by Bunmi Agusto; and "Bodegons i cossiols del porvenir," by Magdalena Puigserver, curated by Cendra Projects. Other museums including Miró Mallorca, Fundación Juan March, CaixaForum Palma, Can Balaguer, La Llotja, Museu de Mallorca and Museu de Pollença, will also be open to the public for Nit del Art.

Art Palma Contemporani and Nit del Art celebrate its 30th anniversary with a new visual identity developed by Hondo and Hastalastantas that captures the mood of ‘capvespre’ a Catalan word for dusk, or that moment when the day is ending and the night begins. APC wanted to capture this moment visually, this threshold, transition and promise, sentiments that are felt during this experience of Nit del Art.
